This exhibition highlights recent achievements in Norwegian architecture, revealing particular details in each individual project and emphasising those developments, which are important for society as a whole.
Utilising various methods of presentation as well as contemporary information media, the exhibition communicates a complex image of Norwegian architecture, including buildings built in Norway as well as other countries over the past five years.
The exhibition is the seventh of a series promoting exhibitions, which concern contemporary Norwegian architecture from 1968 to the present day. The exhibition highlights 31 individual projects, as well as two groups, which are presented together: Steinsvik Architects’ passive energy houses in Tromsø and the revitalising of national tourist routes in Norway.
Projects are grouped into: projects carried out outside Norway, “eneboligkvaliteter”, construction of dwellings, installations, “new in old”, local cultural agencies, education and schools, recreation and outdoors activities, as well as the national tourist routes.
Scientific Consultant in Greece: Andreas Yiakoumatos
