Cities of the world with a past, present and future : Through the photographic lens of Constance Kratsa

photo: www.benaki.gr
Konstantia Kratsa, a millennial child has lived in four countries for her studies and work, but has travelled to many more. Since her student days she has recorded emblematic cities and used her lens to narrate the role they play, as well as the image they want to project. Her interest in the town plan, the buildings and monuments of each city, springs from her belief that architecture and urban planning express the culture of a city’s inhabitants. She considers that the creations of one generation influence the following generations and help build the identity of a city.
